Our first collaboration with River Valley Primary School was during Go Green SG 2024 in July 2024. What a pleasure to continue our cooperation with the school, Ms Asveeny Sanjeevi, Level Head (Science), the PSG and 10 student leaders on sustainability and to explore another opportunity of promoting circularity in schools! On 29 September 2024, we ran a hands-on workshop with over 20 PSG volunteers and students leaders (P4 and P5 levels). Following an introduction to sustainable textiles and sustainable consumption, each participant created a pouch made of pre-loved RVPS school uniforms. While we welcomed a few experienced PSG leaders, most parents and students sat for the first time on a sewing machine. More exciting activities to come at RVPS!
