On 22 February 2025, The Circular Classroom conducted an engaging sustainability workshop at Bedok Green Secondary School (BGSS) as part of the Education and Career Guidance (ECG) session for parents. The session highlighted the crucial role parents play in inspiring and guiding students toward sustainable practices. As role models, parents can make a difference by discussing climate change and environmental issues at home, fostering awareness and action from an early age. In addition to insightful discussions, parents participated in a hands-on activity, where they created TCC’s beloved plushie mascot – the owl! This interactive session reinforced the importance of repurposing materials and embracing sustainable habits in everyday life. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and participation of the BGSS Parent Support Group (PSG) leaders and look forward to more opportunities to engage families in sustainability efforts!
