On 24 May 2024, we hosted an exciting awareness and hands-on session with an enthusiastic group of students at ITE Central. The highlight of the event was the SEWATHON, a speed-innovation challenge where students transformed pre-loved uniforms into innovative and useful prototypes. Students eagerly tackled the challenge, showcasing great teamwork and ingenuity. The range of solutions they developed was truly inspiring, featuring everything from bags and accessories to entirely new garments. Their design thinking and resourcefulness were on full display, demonstrating the power of creativity and sustainable practices. The SEWATHON not only highlighted the importance of sustainability but also underscored the value of practical problem-solving skills and hands-on learning experiences. The event was a blend of education, innovation, and environmental consciousness, encouraging young minds to explore and innovate.
