Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to welcome the festive season than with a colourful crafting session with our senior friends at the Active Ageing Centre Cassia! This time, we transformed pre-loved PE school uniforms in vibrant red, white and green into a beautiful Christmas wreath. With plenty of fabric strips to cut, tie and arrange, it was a true team effort. Everyone contributed, whether preparing the materials, binding the strips together or adding the finishing touches. And right in the centre of our wreath? Our iconic Circular Classroom owl, bringing a familiar and playful touch to the festive creation! Beyond the festive fun, the activity was another lovely reminder that creativity and sustainability go hand in hand. With a little imagination and many helping hands, materials that might otherwise be thrown away can become something to celebrate. A joyful start to the festive season, filled with creativity, friendship and Christmas cheer!
