In preparation for Chinese New Year, we enjoyed another wonderful creative session with the seniors at THK Active Ageing Centre at Kaki Bukit. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, we explored the art of quilling, a technique that involves rolling and shaping narrow strips of paper into decorative designs. With patience, creativity and plenty of laughter, the seniors crafted one big colourful horse artwork to welcome the festive season. Beyond the beautiful decorations, the workshop offered an opportunity to practise fine motor skills, learn something new and enjoy meaningful moments together.
