In preparation for Chinese New Year, we enjoyed another wonderful creative session with the seniors at THK Active Ageing Centre at Cassia. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, we explored the art of quilling, a technique that involves rolling and shaping narrow strips of paper into decorative designs. With patience, creativity and plenty of laughter, the seniors crafted their own colourful horses to welcome the festive season. Beyond the beautiful decorations, the workshop offered an opportunity to practise fine motor skills, learn something new and enjoy meaningful moments together.
