Products

Handmade in Singapore, our products give pre-loved school uniforms a second life and promote sustainability across schools and communities.

The Circular Gallery

The Circular Classroom follows a holistic and inclusive approach that not only focuses on resource conservation and waste reduction but also on community spirit and responsible citizenship. All our products are handmade in Singapore from repurposed school uniforms. From collection to repurposing and to distribution, we engage students, parents and seniors to be part of one joint sustainability initiative. Through our product line, we also provide job opportunities to vulnerable groups in the community and support environmental education programmes through the funds generated. And every purchase makes a difference. For every product sold, S$1 goes towards the SMU Opportunity Award, which helps students with financial needs access overseas learning opportunities.

Commissioned by Schools and PSG Group

We collaborate with Schools and Parent Support Groups (PSGs) to create unique, repurposed products from pre-loved school uniforms, and promote sustainability and circularity within the school community. Schools and PSGs can commission us to design custom products that are tailored to their specific needs. Only these products incorporate the school's colours and identity, including the school crest if wished. The items can be produced for special occasions such as Teachers' and Children's Day, or for Graduation Days and Award Ceremonies.

Limited Editions and Special Occasions

We also create products from pre-loved school uniforms for special occasions, for example family celebrations or cultural and religious festivals. Our items offer a simple way to make these events more sustainable and add further meaning: they show care for future generations and the environment. By choosing products made of repurposed materials as gifts or awards, celebrations become more eco-friendly and make everyone feel and do good.

"Owlbert" - The Circular Classroom Mascot

Meet Owlbert, the beloved mascot of The Circular Classroom Inspired by the owl - a symbol of education, wisdom, and foresight - Owlbert represents the values at the heart of our work. Owls are also an endangered species and remind us of the importance of protecting our environment and thinking ahead for future generations. The name Owlbert is a playful nod to Albert Einstein, one of the greatest minds of our time, and celebrates the power of imagination and the idea that anything is possible when creativity meets purpose. Our mascot Owlbert was named in 2025 by SMU students from the SMU-X course “Teambuilding and Leadership”, led by Prof Hanoi Lok. A special thank you to the students Arielle Lynn Huang, Patricia Kristiani Boy, Sarah Ng Qiu Hong, Joey Tan, Vamsidhari Wadhwani, and Philip Lee Chien Yao for bringing this name to life. Each Owlbert plushie is handcrafted from pre-loved school uniforms. What was once worn in classrooms is now transformed into a symbol of learning, sustainability, and possibility.
